Pioneer Concrete Coatings LLC
Limited Lifetime Residential Warranty
Every residential floor we install comes with our written Limited Lifetime Residential Warranty. You get the full terms with your quote and acknowledge them before we schedule your job.
Our standard system is an epoxy moisture vapor barrier (MVB) base, an optional flake or quartz broadcast, and a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat. Your quote lists the exact products used on your floor.
How long it lasts
Coverage lasts as long as the original homeowner owns and lives in the home. If the home is sold within the first 12 months after installation, the warranty can be transferred to the buyer as described in your written warranty.
What's covered
Defects caused by our materials or workmanship:
- Peeling or delamination from the properly prepared concrete
- Chipping, cracking, or separation of the coating itself (not cracks in the concrete underneath)
- Yellowing, fading, or loss of color from UV exposure, as described in your written warranty
- Defects in the coating materials we installed
- Failure from moisture vapor coming up through the slab, when our epoxy moisture vapor barrier was properly applied
If a covered defect shows up, we'll repair or replace the affected area, using comparable materials, at no charge to you for labor and materials. Repairs are limited to the affected area.
What's not covered
- Damage from the concrete slab moving, settling, or cracking
- Flooding, standing water, poor drainage, or water pressure from below beyond what the moisture vapor barrier can handle
- Abuse or mechanical damage: dropped heavy objects, vehicle impacts, dragging equipment, metal shovels, or de-icers containing magnesium chloride
- Chemical damage from gasoline, solvents, acids, or similar substances
- Damage from a lack of reasonable maintenance
- Normal wear and tear, fading not caused by UV, and cosmetic issues that don't affect performance
- Work done by anyone else, or areas we didn't coat
- Moisture-related failure if a recommended moisture vapor barrier was declined
- Damage from walking on, placing items on, or driving on the floor before it has cured enough for that use (in warm weather, about 24 hours for foot traffic and about 72 hours for vehicles; longer in cool weather or where the selected products require it)
Keeping your coverage
Give the floor about 7 days to fully cure, or longer if the selected products or conditions require it, before wet cleaning or chemical contact. Follow your project-specific timeline and Floor Care Sheet: clean with mild soap and water or a pH-neutral cleaner and soft-bristle tools, use plastic or rubber snow shovels, don't use de-icers containing magnesium chloride, and rinse off road salt regularly. Don't let standing water or chemical spills sit. Let us know in writing (email is fine) within 30 days of noticing a problem, and give us access to inspect.
Making a claim
Call (413) 544-4933 or email quotes@pioneerconcretecoatings.com within 30 days of noticing a problem. Include your proof of purchase, installation date, and photos. We'll schedule an inspection, usually within 7–14 business days, and if the claim is approved, we'll set up the repair at a time that works for you.
The fine print
This is a limited warranty for residential installations by Pioneer Concrete Coatings LLC. Our total liability is limited to the original purchase price of the coated area, and consequential damages (like loss of use) aren't covered. Massachusetts law applies. The complete terms are in the written warranty that comes with your quote. Commercial projects get their own written warranty terms in the commercial quote.
